You dealing with this too? (Capital one bank)

I have been trying to log into my account for a few days now. Was waiting for a new card and it finally came bh
I write down all my passwords so it’s not a password problem……..except it is!
Every time I log in to my accounts with the correct username and password I get redirected to this page that says oops looks like you forgot something and they have me fill out the blanks with my name, ssn, dob and from there I get to a 2 step authentication thing then a text with a code then after this I have to make a new password then write it down.

And the process starts all over again the next time I try to sign in.
This is on iOS safari. I downloaded the app and I can’t sign in because my account is supposedly locked because of too many failed sign in attempts (and I put in the right info. Yes I double and triple make sure)
To say I am fed up is an understatement……

If you're locked out you probably need to call them to confirm your identity and unlock you. Sorry, I know it's frustrating. Good luck!

Why did you have to get a new card? When I had an issue like this with another bank I think someone was hacking my account and constantly resetting my password. Once I changed the username as well I was good

The card was compromised so they sent me a new one
It was supposed to come 2 weeks ago but never came
Called them and they said they had the wrong address
Then been checking the tracking since and at every log in they send me to the page where they ask for my info then verification then a code to my phone before I can reset my password…repeat repeat repeat.

I spoke to them on the phone and they said I have to wait 24 hours before trying again but I would have to call them again to get a temporary password
