My 10 month old loves emptying things. Yesterday I found her in the bathroom, the door to the dryer was open & she had emptied every single piece of clothes from it. I set aside a cabinet in the dining room, and it really keeps her busy to completely empty "her" cabinet & make a huge mess. I put things in there that I know she likes, like old magazines. Keeps her busy forever.

Other ppl. have mentioned it, but a big favorite w/ babies is pots, bowls, and spoons to make tons of noise! Wink

My friend, who just had her second, like a year apart, told me something recently. she said that she doesnt expect herself to get anything done when her kids are up. that way she wont get frustrated by not "accomplishing" anything. now I have no idea when she does things in the house, but it's just a thought.

& remember, at the end of the day, if you have a happy content baby, it's a wonderful accomplishment. of course the other things are all important, but puts things in perspective.
