Hi, my dd is diagnosed with inattantive ADHD, so we tried two meds so far but both have been making her much more anxious and insecure about her relationships and friendships. Is this a known side effect of AHDH meds?

Yes, it is a side effect sometimes because most meds for adhd are stimulants. Ask your dr. About quelbry which is an adhd med that’s non-stimulant. Much hatzlacha!

Yes, this can happen from ADHD meds. Please discuss with your child's doctor, a different medication may not have this side effect, or possibly combining medications may work better.

My teen is doing very well on Qelbree bH. We also switched due to increased anxiety on stimulants. It can be hard to get though.

We took my son off of ritalin even though it was helping him, due to the increased anxiety. His psychiatrist said that stimulants can exacerbate anxiety in a child who already has.
What does Quelbree help with?
