Hi all! Just posting this here in case someone has found a creative solution. My 5 yr old son takes a 0.3 mg melatonin chewable year round and it works great for him. From what I understand, those are not kosher l'pesach, so I haven't been giving it to him and it's taking him 2 hours to fall asleep. It's pure torture, for me and him....An advice?

We asked our rav. Maxi health is kitniot and we got a psak that we are allowed to give it if it’s needed.

Benadryl doesn't put my kids to sleep, unfortunately....but will ask a shaela about the maxi health! Is this the chewable ones or the regular tablets?

Maxihealth makes a special Pesach run that isn't kosher lepesach but doesn't include Chometz.

Same. I asked shaila and used the maxi health one. It’s kosher for pesach but may have kitnios.
I bought a pill slicer and slice it into four. I give my little ones 1/4 as the does is large than what I usually give them.

We were told to give a tablet. My 11 year old already swallows pills so it was nothing for her. But I know plenty of people who do maxi health chewable.

We are also using maxi health. The usual kosher one we use actually has wheat

I got a liquid one that I was told was less problematic for pesach and it's been working wonders. I. just checked mine is Mel-o-Drop by Maxi Health.
