My 2 year old is terrified of the swings. She's afraid to go on, but she's also scared for us when we go on. If I sit on the swing, she runs over, crying hysterically, telling me "all done, all done," until I get off. Same with DH and her younger brother. She's also uncomfortable when she sees strangers- kids or adults- on the swings, but not as extreme.
Other info- she used to like swinging in my lap before she was one. No traumatic event, she just started getting really scared all of a sudden. She also doesn't like other things that move at the park, but she loves escalators/elevators.
Please help! It's gotten to the point where she's nervous to be at the park, and I really want to navigate this as successfully as possible, without this getting worse.
