I just got a new ge oven with a black stovetop and black grates. I feel like it’s impossible to get them completely clean. After frying especially they seem to always have a residue that I can’t get off. It looks like my cleaning lady might have used steel wool because now they look a little scratched but if you look closely it’s really not completely clean.
I know it says not to put in the dishwasher but I think that’s the only way to get the grates clean.
Any other suggestions?
