I don't know your budget but hand towels, a salad bowl, serving spoons, a cookbook, or a plant are all options that can be bought inexpensively.

Please if you bring flowers as a gift it, give it with a vase as well.
Can't tell you how many loose bouquets of flowers I got as gifts but didn't have where to put them. ( I have few vases but they are usually full of flowers as I love flowers around my house)
