The only Dalias I know are from more modern backgrounds. Not so with Lioras.
I would extrapolate from there that from my life experience, Dalia is probabbly a more modern name.

Leora is not a very Israeli name. Most leoras you meet in israel are either Anglo or a daughter of Anglo olim.
But Def a name you would find more often in the dati leumi / modern orthodox world.

Signed,
Leoras mom

Do you mean modern as in recent, or modern the way many RW people do, as in not really frum?

Then Dalia.
But both are pretty old in Israel. You might get a Leora in an Anglo family.

I think if you'd asked which name is less yeshivish, you might have gotten better results.

And know that there are very frum MO women on this site who might find your terminology insulting, even if you don't mean it that way.

I know more yeshivish Leoras than Dalias.

As you can probably see from the responses you're getting, this is really dependent on the community you live in.
In Israel today, neither one of those names is considered modern.
I'd say that most women here named Dalia or Leora are in their late 50s, their sixites or their seventies.
