I used to be an athlete, training 6 times a week , twice a day and I loved every moment of it. Once I got married , I was completely unmotivated to get out of the house. Now after having my first child and being the heaviest I've ever been. I feel so disappointed in myself.
Am I just being lazy ?
Pregnancy and nursing made my weight fluctuate like crazy. Banging head

Download apps that will track your activity so you can challenge yourself. Get a babysitter and use the time to exercise.

I never worked out as a teenager and I currently workout 2-3 times daily + walking

Me too, I used to swim a mile twice a week and play basketball too. Now nothing. It's been too long.

I can relate. Used to workout almost every day in high school and continued after getting married and having multiple children. After my last baby I've been struggling a lot and have no interest in putting in effort because it feels like there's no use. I agree with the above poster who said motivation comes and goes but healthy habits stay. Create a new habit by attaching it to an old one. Ex: you brush your teeth every morning so go walking or something right after that 3 times a week. When you already have a habit in place, creating a new one right after the old one becomes easier.
Good luck!

"Just being lazy" is not a plausible explanation. What would make you any lazier now than you've been in the past? You're the same person you were when you were training 6 times a week. What's changed is your body.

Yup story of my life.
When single I worked out several hours a day and walked all over for miles.
Got married to a couch potato and lost all motivation.
Now years later I’m trying to get back the stamina I had but it’s very hard.
