Can I cook cous cous in the oven? What's the ratio for water:cous cous please? What else goes in, Oil and spices?

I have a yummy recpie from here that I modified
1.5 cups coos coos
2.5 cups water
40 min on 200c
4 tbs sugar
3 tsp salt
3 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 oil - mix oil and spices and let it brown in oven on 200 for 10 minutes or until disired color
and then add the water, cover tightly and wait 40 min
its yummm

Thanks! I might miss the sugar out because my kids don't like sweet foods that are really savoury.

I made this one, it's yum! Thanks. I skipped out the pepper, and sprinkled a drop of sugar instead of full amount.
