In Phoenix, there's a Best Western on Northern Ave that's walkable, as well as the Hilton Resort at Piestewa Peak.

There are a few hotels very close to the shuls in Scottsdale, if you choose to be there for shabbos, like the Fairfield Inn and Surestay Plus on Scottsdale Road.

There aren't any Orthodox shuls in Sedona aside from a Chabad that doesn't have regular minyanim. You can contact them to see if there's anything going on for when you're there. The Chabad in Flagstaff does have a shabbos davening, and it is about 40 minutes north of Sedona.

Be aware that if you are going during the summer, it is very, very hot in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area. A 30 minute walk to shul can potentially be dangerous. Drink lots of water and wear protective headgear.

This! I would consider a 30-minute walk in Lakewood walkable, but in Phoenix in the summer it's potentially dangerous, not to mention extremely unpleasant. Flagstaff is much cooler.

Thank you! I was thinking of posting this is not during the summer Smile so we should be ok with the weather. Your hotel info was very helpful, thank you!
