I desperately need to earn money for an unexpected medical emergency. We emptied out our savings account and my husband is very very stressed about it because the medical bills aren’t completely paid up. I have a pretty full time job but would love to work in the evenings to make some money to put back into savings. I’m capable and ready to out the work in. I can’t get more hours at my current job, already tried! Any ideas appreciated!!

That sounds very stressful! Good for you for doing everything you can to pay off the debt. In addition to getting more work hours, I would recommend contacting the billing department of the medical center where the expenses accrued and ask them about payment plans and fee reduction options. Some medical facilities are willing to work with patients in cases of financial need. Hatzlocha OP!

We tried, they were helpful with helping us get insurance but it only covered a fraction of the bills.
