curious-is there any halachic problem with throwing out usable stuff that you just don't want or that if you would keep looking maybe you would find all the parts that would make it useable . part of what hangs me up is feeling bad throwing stuff out out....

It's bal tashchis to waste your living space with clutter. Put your items out at the curb and people passing by may take them before garbage collection.

Maybe change the title to "Decluttering group" so ppl know what this is about. It's not about things to buy.
