I'm expecting soon iyh and had the idea to stock my freezer with healthy muffins that I can grab when I need something satisfying and snacky while nursing - I know my neighbors will offer to cook my family supper for a couple of weeks and my freezer isn't that big so I'm not stocking the freezer with meals. Muffins I can handle. And I know I'll need it because nursing gives me so many cravings and I'm not going to make myself healthy food when it's easier to grab junk.

Anyway who has some really wholesome recipes to share?

Rori Weissberg did an Instagram live on the topic of food while pregnant, nursing and postpartum a while ago. Just checked my notes - she recommends this biscotti recipe for nursing moms https://www.kosher.com/recipe/.....10480

This is my go to super delicious, super duper easy muffin recipe Smile
1/2 cup kodiak cake mix - they have a parave option if you keep Cholev yisrael (I think it’s blueberry) - this cake mix is super high in protein and very healthy
2 bananas
2 eggs

That’s it! I sometimes add in some choc chips or blueberries.

I hate yogurt and cheese, and it won't help if I'm craving snack food.

Thanks for all the links. Waiting for my slow internet to load them so I can decide what to try first!
