Hi I have a son who was said to have ADHD symptoms. Is there any database of information about the lakewood ABA schools. anyone who has the pulse on this specific field. would appreciate any leads to find out which place is the most competent / can help him. TIA

I have 3 boys with ADHD and each kid is way different in how their ADHD presents itself. I don't think ABA would have helped any of them to be totally honest. The lack of impulse control is biological. Treating it with meds and then talk therapy/play therapy/OT has helped a lot. One kid was so impulsive that no therapy of any kind could penetrate. But the methodology of ABA I don't think is designed for these kinds of kids.

I have 2 teens with autism and adhd who had years of ABA. For us, ABA helped much more with the autism than the adhd and meds helped much more with the adhd than the autism. If no autism I don't know that ABA is worth the chase.
