I'm from Manchester, sorry to come in here but had to say I loved Everest, and push up I've creams as a kid!
Who remembers smash choc ices from Iceland? I think they were 20p each or something silly cheap like that

S hilly here, but I remember those everest ice lollies! And the pushups. I don't remember liking the pushups but the everest ones I loved. They were such a treat.

Rendezvous restaurant in the mini shopping centre next to the library. Tight spot was also in there. What was the name of the centre?
Batya luggage shop.
Kosherina in sentinel square.
Raj where k kingdom is now.
Burger land where accessory world is now.

Do you remember David Chesner displaying his wedding pictures up there?

Oh yes forgot about his pictures displayed there.
Halbestams used to be called tight spot, and he worked in a tiny shop there before moving business to his house.
Remember m and m opening up on heather gardens behind kays

Do you remember Grodzinski by Golders Green station, Nadia kosher chocolates on GG road, Franks ladies clothes on GG road, Kosher King when it was a smaller shop on the other side of the road before the big fire in the first shop.
Menorah book shop where Torah Treasures is now.
Do you remember the morning when it was announced that Princess Diana died in a car crash with Dodi El Fayed (or whatever his name was)

The launderette next to Windsor court, and Kay's was a single shop. (Laundrette advert was still painted on side of building till few years ago before building replaced).
Moshes was also a single shop.
Marcus's on Finchley rd.
Adam and Eve kids clothes shop in Hampstead.
All the different restaurants that used to be where shefa is now - cassit.
When Reich's was tiny!!
