I have Nintendo switch. Just so you know, TAG doesn’t actually disable Wi-Fi. They literally do something that has a chance of the switch breaking. Not all locations do it. In BP they didn’t want to do it for me. In Lakewood they did it and let me know it might break and if it does they will only reimburse a certain amount. I took the risk because I had purchased extended warranty. All went well… Works great now without Wi-Fi for a year already.

Also doesn’t pay to get the bigger one with 2 pieces that can detach as once Wi-Fi was off my son couldn’t connect to a big screen to play anymore.

We have the Nintendo switch and have just never connected it to WiFi. We use game cards only and don’t buy downloadable games, so works out more expensive but so worth it for us.

If you will ask about children connecting it themselves, my kids are still youngish and we have spoken to the older ones about it not being connected and they are fine with that. If it was connected they could play two player with friends but that’s not what we want.

He can with the right cables.. although not as practical. And the benefit of local two player is still there with the detachable hand controllers

How? TAG very clearly told me that it cannot be filtered and the research I did showed the same. (This was over a year ago - perhaps things changed …)

I ended up setting up parental controls and monitoring it that way…
