How can anyone afford housing prices now and the interest rates are so high, and such low inventory. Will prices go up or down? What about the interest rates?

There is no magical answer.
I saved up for a down payment of 200k, but in reality even payments on a 700k home doesn't seem doable.
Our income needs to increase exponentially to be able to pay $5000 for monthly housing

We have that much for a down payment but it’s really not enough with these interest rates.
