Does NYU Hospital (34th street, 1st Avenue) have a Bikur Cholim room (for food, not sleeping)?

If not, where would a visitor who is staying with a patient, go to buy food, thats close, or do they have to bring from home?

Thanks, is someone there and if yes, what hours, or do you need to know a combination to get in?

I always bring some food from home anyway since it’s not always possible to leave the patient
But this room has been a lifesaver on many occasions

I think you can also call satmar bikur cholim and ask them if they have anyone who can bring you a bag of food to your room in the morning but I’m not sure if they do this or not.

Bring your own food. NYU is the worst when it comes to a stocked bikur cholim room. Btdt.

My father, brothers, and myself all very much appreciated the Bikur Cholim room at NYU when my mother a”h was hospitalized there. This was 1.75 years ago.

NYU has an amazing Bikur Cholim room. They recently even have food ordered from local restaurants every night that is sponsored by some people. Just not sure if you have to place an order in advance…
