I have a problem. I have very light pale skin, and very dark almost black hair. When I wear a full wig I usually get a dark brown but not the darkest because then it looks harsh against my skin. For my fall I did the same but I noticed that when the front behind my ears sticks out in front of the headband, it’s noticeably a darker color than the wig behind the headband
Any thoughts or advice

Get highlights.
Or you could dye your hair just at the front and sides.
You can do it yourself.

You could dye your hair lighter to match the fall.
Or you could wear the fall in such a manner that none of your hair sticks out.

Maybe I’ll do dark highlights (lowlights) in the fall.
I don’t look good with the headband directly on my ears

I have the exact same issue. I wear a fall with base color matching mine at the top, and ombré dye job so it’s black on top, then blends into brown, which blends to lighter/reddish brown, into really red blondish ends. 3/4 of the wig is so NOT my color, but I love it so so much! I always wanted red hair
