Oh wow! So for a petite for year old that is size 3 in other brands, I should get a size 5 I guess.

Size 4 kid size 8
Size 2 kid size 4
I think their first season was last year they might have adjusted their sizing…

I got a sz 4 for my 2 year old and size 5 for my 3 yr old. It's slightly loose on them. Doesn't fit just right but not too big either.

Wow the kids are average size? The clothes were big or fit well?
I got bathrobes for my girls, I sized up 1 size, it fit them well. But they're petite.

My 2 yr old wear a size 2/3 and my 3 yr old size 4/5 depending in the dress/skirt/top

Yes. It was for 5 yr old, 4 yr old, 2 yr old. 4 yr old is somewhat taller than average rest are average

My kids are petite and I got them their regular sizes, it was perfect for that season but no room to grow. I would suggest you size up one size, not more since I know they did improve their fit for their winter products.
