It doesn't seem like such a popular name in the USA, at least in my circles. I'm just confirming that it IS a name that's used, correct? And is Hadara actually a name or I'm just randomly adding a ה because I like it better?

Hadar is definitely a name. Unisex. I have never heard of Hadara.

I know boys and girls named Hadar and some girls named Hadara. In Israel.

Hadar is a very nice name. Not uncommon in Israel (I don't know about the US).
I don't know of any Hadara.
