Hi! First time mom, looking for tips and hacks on labeling from clothing to water bottles to socks and lunchboxes… best to use sharpie? Order labels? Stamps? What do people do? Should I just buy a label maker? Thanks!

I order online pre-printed label stickers with my family name and phone number. You just stick them onto clothing, bottles, boxes, everything. It's amazing. It takes 2 minutes to label everything and they last through the dishwasher, washing machine etc. It's so much better than sharpies that keep rubbing out with washing, so much better than iron on labels etc. I can still remember the days of sewing every label onto clothing. Aaah this is just heaven compared.
I'm not in the US, so the company I use is probably of no use to you.

Thank you! I find that they are so expensive online. How much did you pay?

I pay essentially $10 for 90 labels and it's worth every cent. It's part of the cost of doing business and it's worth paying more for label stickers that require so little effort. Sure it's cheaper to use a sharpie and keep rewriting as it rubs out, or buy your own iron on labels and write your own name, but they don't last as well, plus it takes a lot longer to iron on all those labels.
There's some stuff that it's worth paying more for and to outsource.
