I have a sauce I made for sesame chicken with cooked onions in it. It's been sitting in the fridge for a few months. Looks and smells totally normal. The sauce has ketchup and sugar in it. Will this still be ok to use like other condiments with vinegar and sugar or does the cooked onion change that?

I would not use this or any homemade sauce that's been in the fridge for months.
