I am so so right now with finances and I wash my other non lace wigs. I’m thinking about trying to wash my lace top myself. How do I do it so I don’t ruin it? Nowadays wash n sets are costing me 60-80 and I just can’t any more. Can any sheitel macher give me tips?

Please be careful. My friend did this with her lace front (that she has washed herself before) and for whatever reason that time it got messed up and she ended up needing to get a whole new lace front costing hundreds.

I really wouldn’t take a chance if I were you. It’s really easy to ruin a wig if you don’t have formal training, and that could be a very expensive loss.

Maybe you can take a short course with sheital macher on how to wash..
In the long run you will save a lot
