A cake is nice.
I’ll always remember how my grandparents sent me a huge platter of American candy. It was so nice!

American-style and American products. It’s just different stuff from what they sell in the Israeli candy shops. I can try to find out where they got it

Check with sem before ordering… my daughter is there now and 1 of the rules is not food delivery’s, no package this week and no fancy foods

My mother used to send from the more “official” gifting placing and then my genius brother suggested that she call the local bakery/candy store. For half the price she got a cake and other goodies. Check Google maps for a local Israeli bakery - they likely have WhatsApp.
Or you can download the Wolt app. It’s basically uber eats in israel. It’ll be a LOT more affordable.

What bakeries are kosher that a yeshivish seminary is ok with?

I’m assuming the seminary is in yerushalayim. Which neighborhood is it located in?

My daughters seminary said the same thing. But my daughter told me that there were tons of Greenbery deliveries.
