I’m a new mother working from home. The nanny is usually out. When she comes baby for the baby to nurse after nursing he cries when I go back to the room to work. Is it normal what can I do to ease the transition?

If course it's normal! It would be concerning if he didn't cry under these circumstances. I would just be careful not to prolong the goodbye. Just give a smile and a kiss, say I love you and I'll see you soon, and let the nanny distract him once you're behind closed doors.

Very normal. You can pump milk if you don’t want him to see you in middle of the day

Don't just nurse and give him back.
Hes not done connecting with you.
Spend a few extra min to ease the transition.
So when your done, sit down and set him up with some blocks in a different room and have the nanny join.
Act relaxed and not in a rush and then calmly say mommy is gonna go ill be back soon.
Or the nanny can say "oh baby, you want to see these cars/dolls etc"
That's what I found worked for me
