Are you supposed to ask for specific things, like parnasa, a refuah etc on Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kippur?

I know it's a yom tov and on shabbos we don't "ask for things" and especially this year 1 day is a shabbos. Are you allowed/supposed to daven for things?

Any torah anytime shiur explaining this?

Thanks

I learned that as a a servant to the king we want to do one thing and be His servants.

But to properly serve Him, we need the correct tools. We need like health, happiness, good children, shalom bayis ect. So therefore we can ask for the tools of the trade so to speak.

I have learned that rh is about being mamlich Hashem. The only time for bakashos is during the tekios and birchas kohanim and avinu malkeinu

Everyone's right.
RH is the time to be mamlich Hashem and focus on that.
But we are human and not strong and asking is acceptable if not more, I.e even a good thing. (I recently heard someone reputable say this.)
Yes, we should try to frame our needs as in order to serve Hashem optimally. But the fact that we are turning to Hashem as the only One who can help us is in itself being mamlich Hashem.
