What is this from? It was leaking from him after he had had a bm and was in the toilet bowl as well.

It looked like the oil from meat in a sauce - bright orange oil.

Im guessing from something he ate but I can’t think what..

We've had blue and my doctor said not to worry.
Crayon or something else. Can't remember if the child was at playgroup yet.
I remember freaking out, first time mom and knew for sure I didn't serve any blue junk.

Sounds like bile.
After I got my gallbladder out I had that for a while.
It was more yellowish.
Could be his body is producing too much bile or isn’t storing it properly in his gallbladder.

Edit-
I found this online-
“Bile is a liquid secreted by your liver to aid digestion of food. If you pass orange poop, it may imply that either the stool isn't absorbing enough bile or isn't exposed to bile at all. The color of bile is yellowish-green and its reaction with the enzymes present in your stool makes it brown.”

No- antibiotics. But he has had loads unfortunately and never had this before so I don’t think it’s connected
