That's not a fair question, cuz there are so many different types of apples even within colors. I like golden delicious, but not granny smith. I like McIntosh, but not red delicious.

I wanted to make a poll with different types of apples but way too many for a poll
This is more for a sweet, sour or tart taste

I like fuji, gala and pink lady, but yellow and green delicious can be good as well. Red delicious are fine but not my favorite.

Texture is what counts, followed by flavor. I'd rather have a crisp,bland apple than a mealy sweet one. best of all is crisp and slightly tart, like Granny Smith, though sweet Galas are good, too. Color is for identification only, otherwise meaningless except in fruit salad, where one likes a variety.

I'm the opposite, I'd rather eat a mealy, shrivelled up one as long as it's sweet than a bland or sour crispy one.

I and all my kids go the most for honey crisp second best is golden delicious.
I love green apple flavored foods but not so much the apple it’s too hard and sour

Love a good Granny Smith, but Honey Crisps are also good. Depends on my mood. The main thing is it has to be crunchy. Same goes for peaches. You will never catch me biting into a soft peach.
