I probably would because he manages the finances (meaning he makes sure that all bills get paid and accounts have enough to allow for auto pays) and he would have to know if an account is depleted by a few hundred.

It worked BH. I also asked his Rav to speak with him, and he said without full transparency he was not allowed to loan any money to anyone.

If it is $20-40 to a neighbor to pay for her cleaning help or a random school fee and she was going to the bank later- we don't ask each other. But for a longer period of time or someone we know may not pay back-- we talk to each other.
Everything is joint here.
