If you have a mover, it is best to have them pack for you because then if there is any damage, it is easier to make a claim so they are the ones who packed.

Do you have a mover in the area you can recommend? It's very important to me that things are in the proper box properly labeled. Because of different circumstances we're not going to be fully unpacking for a while. I was under the impression that most movers just throw everything into the closest box.

I am not in your area so I have no recommendations.
I have several friends who had movers pack for them and they told me that did a very professional job.
