I like short ribs and got the hang of cooking them but they have so little meat on them to justify the expense. Which cut of meat can I use with the same method of cooking/recipe as short ribs?

You can square cut a 2nd cut brisket and cook it like short ribs.

Not sure where your located but in Israel I get flanken and asado for that type of meat

What do you like about your short rib recipes?
As others have posted, there are "meatier" cuts of meat which need to be braised and which can have the same flavor profile as short ribs.

Thanks so much for suggestions. I like short ribs because the sweet recipes I made were so easy. Like mix ketchup etc and bake.
If anybody has recipe for delicious sweet meat that comes out soft I would love to try...
