Do you wash for a Yom tov meal tonight? I don’t. Wonder how guilty I need to feel.

I grew up without it, we just ate regular supper, but my in-laws do make a full YT meal, so now we do too. Smile

Never heard of one tonight and honestly only had one once in my whole life on hoshana rabba. Thought it was just a nice thing to do...

No, but I made special dishes tonight — beef teriyaki for the main and an apple crisp for dessert.

We have always had a seudah on the day of hoshaana rabbah. Both my parents and in-laws, and we have in our home too.
Particularly challah in honey and kreplach.

Our shul had an earlier Ma'ariv than usual and then a seuda for the men with some sort of program including learning...
We usually have a seuda during the day, with kreplach as someone mentioned.

We had dinner. Chicken tacos. Was tasty. That’s it. We never heard of eating or doing more ‘official’

Yes same.
Hoshana Raba is a huge thing, like a second rosh hashana almost. Hopefully men will be home 2:30 3ish.
It's not so bad because we have hakafos tonight and the meal is late (after 10) so everybody will still be hungry then.
