whats a good waterproof spray for velvet shoes? I see the scotchguard fabric spray but it doesn't say specifically for velvet. does anyone know if it's good? (black velvet if that matters)

I've used the Van's waterproofing spray on velvet shoes. They look the same and are pretty water resistant
