We did Rabbi Boruch Chaits illustrated The 39 Avoth Melacha of Shabbos growing up, a page or two a week. Its not written out like one halacha at a time, it's illustrated scenes. I bought it for my kids when they were really young and they love it too.

We loved this for looking at together and my kids always poured over the scenes, but to review at the table, the set of 2 with photos is fabulous. It’s published by Machon Halacha Lyeled. Really good.
