My 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with precocious puberty based on the stim test. We are considering using the triptodur injection (once every 6 months ).
She’s on the shorter side genetically, and I think getting her first period at 10 will affect her height and will be hard emotionally. Any advice or experience with this drug (it’s short and long term affects) will be helpful.
Also, for those on this type of drug - how soon after ending treatment, do you start your first period? TIA.
