Is your husband home to give you a break from the witching hour? Having him hold the baby even for just half hour of that time can help give you a little sanity.

This. There’s nothing wrong with doing play eat sleep also. Feeding to sleep is developmentally normal. Baby is only 5 weeks.

Than you for all ur responses! I know she's little and I'm not intent on putting her on a strict schedule it's just this specific hour tht is non stop screaming! I will try the books and tips rec and keep u all posted!

Taught me to pay attention to my kids cues, and to get them into a routine, and to top off feedings at night

You can also try burping her halfway through feeding so the gas doesn't build up too much and she'll be able to fill herself better.
