There's no one foundation that lasts the same for everyone. Every skin type is different. You need to find the right brand for yourself.

Whatever you use, apply in thin layers, powder, set, then don't sleep on your face (if for shabbat)

We don't necessarily wear foundation because we're trying to cover "issues".
And some of us have "issues" that nothing can be done about.
