What is the average price of a round trip ticket to Israel from the US during non war times?

Depending on the season. It can be $900 or $2000+.

LA is always a little more than NY, Chicago, Miami.

If you buy Jan - Feb (not 1st week of Jan though) which is the cheapest time, and you buy a few weeks ahead of time, economy seats, it can be as little as $700.

If you buy July - Aug (expensive time), a month in advance, economy seats, you might be able to get $1100 with a layover, but that's good.
