I have an 18 month old who is an only child and is constantly needing attention. Any tried and true toys to keep him occupied?

TIA

The kitchen cabinets and pantry, hours of entertainment.
A small bike or scooter in the house (if you don't have a downstairs neighbor.)
Doll stroller with dolls.

Magna tiles. It’s 15 min vs 2 min with other toys.
My toddler also likes his play kitchen putting things in and out .

I have magna tiles, a carriage, toy kitchen.
He plays for three minutes on his own - I am going out of mind BH.
Any other ideas?

My daughter loves her Stacking tower. Anything that involves things in and out... Etc

She spent 25 minutes yesterday taking acorns she's collected in and out of a sock πŸ˜‚

Following this thread, my 13mo is busy unpacking my bedside cupboard everyday!
She plays with her toys for only a few minutes.

πŸ˜‚ We went to the park the other day and she had to pick up every single one she saw. She cried when I said we need to walk away.

Some kids just don't like toys all that much. My oldest didn't. It was exhausting sometimes! We ended up reading tons and tons of books.

No advice cuz mine was the same at that age, but a couple months later is often playing independently for 40+ minutes at a time BH! If nothing seems to work for now, there's still hope for the future!

I once saw an idea on Pinterest to tape a paper towel or toilet paper roll onto the wall vertically and then give your toddler pompoms to drop through the roll... I meant to try it I think my toddler would have loved it but she's too big now.
