How do Schuck's cakes (in Lakewood) compare to Siegelman's cakes?
Are some of each place's cakes better than others? Do they each have cakes that they do better?

I've gotten cakes from both.
No one compares to Siegelman's log cake, that caramel one that was her original creation.
Shuck's other cakes are amazing.
Both of them make great strawberry shortcake.
Shuck's blueberry cake is awesome. Her white chocolate and hazelnut cake is very good and pretty as a centerpiece.
By the way, if you're looking to branch out, there's a new place in town. The new bakery, Cookie Corner, has the most awesomely delicious and really unique-looking stuff. Very pretty and very delicious. I think it's going to be very popular.

Every simcha I’ve been to where there’s a Siegelman caramel cake it disappears.
Schuck’s cake are delicious. People love the strawberry shortcake.
The hostess has to cut a slice or two and start passing it around. That’s the secret to getting them eaten.

Me! Yum!!! No one does Strawberry Shortcake like shucks because they use actual strawberries or something in their sauce instead of just Jam.
And def a siegelman caramel log. Heaven!
