Poor kid imagine your mother killed herself because of you.
The article I read said that that community has a very high rate of children being taken. Why do people live there?

It was not because of her, it was because she couldn't see her.

The jury awarded Maya the 200 or so million.
Wow, I am so happy for her and her family and I hope they can move on and live normal lives.
This was such a sad story to follow.

That story is so heartbreaking and infuriating. The doctor got off way too easy imo.
It sounds like she’s not the only doctor who jumps to abuse way too quickly though. There should be huge penalties for egocentric doctors who destroy families like this.

I can think of a few recent frum stories where the parents were accused of child abuse. Each story is sadder than the next:(
Did any of these families sue??

Did any of these families sue?? | I haven’t heard of any lawsuits. Sadly the law tends to side with the doctor… in this case it was so over the top and I think that’s why they won.
