Speaking of Walmart, I decided to buy their 1.99 small-medium loaf pans since I spend a ton on disposables when I make challah.

Now I've been making challah for close to 2 decades and have developed my own recipe based on my family's preferences. After making my last batch in these pans for the first time, dh said "honey I didn't think your challah could get any better but for some reason this week it's even more amazing than usual."

So I guess I recommend their loaf pans?

the fact that your husband said that to you made me almost cry. probably because we were discussing compliments are lack there of in marriage counseling today. I hope you appreciate the fact that your husband compliments you like that (know nothing else about him so I realize it's out of context and won't be jealous, or at least try not to, but my husband doesn't really complement my food ever...

are the beans kosher, don't see a hechsehr online?

Walmart brand canned beans are NOT (unless someone knows otherwise).
Great Value canned green beans DO have a hechsher.
I buy Goya or Hanover brand for kidney or garbanzo beans.
DRIED Great Value beans also have a hechsher.

but isn't it still an issue if you are using it to make dessert for shabbos?

No, just don't cook at same time as fleishig or eat together with it but can eat it right after and use the fleishig oven without open fleishig at the same time as it...

What's the hechsher on the country crock cream? I couldn't see one in any pictures, but country crock says it's kosher and obviously if you're buying as well, it must be. Smile I'd love to try it.

Don't rely on me... I haven't actually bought it yet! I was just excited to find it. Still need to figure out what hechsher it has.

Thanks. It's not in stock at my local store, anyway. If I find out the hechsher, I'll share.

Just confirmed with OU that at this time, the speculoos cookie butter is still dairy equipment. So exciting!! Not even sure what to do with it other than take a big spoonful.
