I'm thinking of getting one for my husband for Chanukah. There's a sale on Target today.
Does anyone have one? How has your experience been?
Does it make good seltzer (comparable to the well carbonated Jewish brands)?

Huge fan
It suggests x3 shpritzs, but 1 or 2 I find does the job & then cartridge used up less quickly.
2 tips - Get 2 or 3 cartridges to less frequently replace.
Fill bottles with water to refrigerate, but then shpritz when ready to use, more bubbly.

Thanks! Do you use yours on Shabbos?

I've also been thinking about getting one, didn't know about the sale. Can they all be used on shabbos? How does it work with the cartridges?

They're great, make super bubbly seltzer
If you can find one without any electric displays or buttons it's not a problem for shabbos

Something like this which has a manual button that pushes down the canister is fine for shabbos

We use ours on Shabbos but you can def ask your lor.
It works mechanically, the air shoots into the water with a pushing down of sort of a lever, but I'm not knowledgeable enough on hilchos Shabbos to speak to why it's permissible.

And we usually do 4 spritzes cause we like it more gassy.
I think its still not as bubbly as Be'er Mayim seltzer.

I got it as a gift. I love not having to shlep seltzer anymore. At first we were not happy with the carbonation level we realized that if you refrigerate the water before making the seltzer it comes out like the Jewish brands.

We looked into it a few times and the cartridges dont end up cheaper than just buying seltzer by the case.

We have found them to be slightly cheaper then buying seltzer. My dh is a big seltzer drinker and I love that we don't have a ton of empty bottles waiting to be taken outside.

We love it!
Have it since 14 years ago!
Not sure why our rov said not to do it shabbos.
But he was ok with yt.
It remains bubbly for shorter than the frum companies. So I’d Recommend not prepare and fill the fridge. I’d bubble immediately before drinking and it’s perfect. My kids say it give the perfect greps.😂
No empty bottles in the house.
