If you are in your 40s or have an idea what such a person would enjoy please help me out. I need to buy a $20 gift, cannot be cash or any type of gift card. Needs to be a tangible item. What would you want, what would you give? ( married with a few kids if that matters )

$20 these days really won’t get you anywhere. Not even a lunch or a book.

It could get a book, depends on the book. Or coffee and muffins. A CD if she’s from the circles that still use them. Many stores have diffusers for that price and they’re always a popular gift item. You can find scarves. A mug/contigo type of bottle with chocolate/muffins, etc.
There’s what to buy, you just have to know what she might enjoy most.
I’m in my forties and would appreciate a cappuccino and croissant any day.

What do we know about her?

I am in my 40’s. I am extremely hard to buy for.
I hate smelly things like candles/lotions/diffusers.(I get candles almost yearly for the holidays from coworkers, and I give them to my children to not keep, but regift out of my house.)
I have enough throws to build more than enough forts and not enough closet to keep them in.

Chocolate I can eat. Never can have too much of that (maybe taht is why I am not fitting into dresses.

Books are awesome-if they are my genre.

Personally, I love pretty little serving dishes. I probably have 40, but that doesn’t stop me from buying more. My children know that when they have their own homes they are welcome to take whatever they want -buy what you love and fill in the extra from my home, whichever ones are a good size or make you smile. (They are really pretty).

I would love scrapbooking supplies or an art project, especially if I have something to do it with!

As SingleAgain likes to correctly remind us on gift threads, age is not a personality trait. (I am giving proper credit to her, I apologize if U was incorrect to mention her by name. I mean no offense)
