My recipe is a very basic one but it works.
2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil (I put a bit more in)
1 egg

Mix altogether to form a dough. Can add a little water if needed (mine always does)
Then you need to add flour when rolling out but use parchment paper. I do this every year and they come out fine.

Betweencarpools.com has one that I just made and was so easy to work with for the kids. It has margarine though and usually I stay away but wanted to try it out.
