He is 1. He was off of dairy until a few weeks ago, due to possible allergy concerns. Also, he has swallowing issues and oat milk is thicker than cow milk, so he doesn’t gag and cough from it.

Pasta is also usually fortified

I googled and clicked on a link from webmd. According to them, he needs 7mg a day, which is what he gets from his shakes. I can make sure he has some iron rich foods, but do I really need to make myself crazy with the liquid iron? (I guess that’s really more a question for my pediatrician….)
