Title says it all. 21 months old. If she wakes up at any point during the night, she'll scream long enough for me to go into her and won't settle down again. I end up taking her out and letting her be up a while, about an hour or so, until she gets really tired and then falls asleep in her stroller. Then she'll usually stay there until morning. Is there any way to get her to lay back down after she starts crying and go back to sleep?
I know that a big factor is that she shares a bedroom and my son is 7 and cries when he is woken up in middle the night so letting her cry more than a few minutes isn't an option. I don't have another room for him at this point, eventhough I wish I did. 😪

Oy bad habits here. Why are you keeping her up so long? She had too much time to wake herself up making it harder to settle down. The sooner you get her back to bed the better. Also try to soothe without taking her out, rub her back, sing a song to her. And the stroller thing shouldn’t even be an option. How often does this happen?

She can sleep thru the night for a couple weeks but then if she's teething or has fluid in her ear, she x sleep well and that's when this all happens. Ice tried many times to calm without taking out but I think the only way to do it for real is to get my son out of the room. I might have to put him in my room for a few nights so even if she cries for an hour, he won't be crying from it too. You're right that it's bad habits
