My daughter, in low 20's, was always very active in school plays, productions, etc. She'd love to do those things again, but we are trying to find her something frum (or at least frum accommodating) and aren't haven't much luck. The college she's in has a drama dept, but their production this year has a lot of things that she wasn't comfortable with, and in the end it wouldn't have worked for her (yes, she tried out, no she wasn't cast, but she's not sure if that was because she was honest with the casting people that she wouldn't be comfortable doing "romance" scenes or cursing, both of which were in this play).

We are in NYC - I would imagine there's something available locally but I have no idea where to look.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Do you know where they are located or who I (or my daughter) can contact about them?

Would she want to be a drama coach for a high school play?
